Windsurf Bay Park at 5556 Locust Grove Road, Garland, Texas.

For the st part, this is a decent park given that it's in a large city. It does tend to get crowded over the summer so if you plan on going, get there early to secure a good spot to throw down a blanket and set up shop. The people are usually friendly, there are times that I've encountered the less than reputable characters with lower than standard morals. Do pay attention to where you set up shop, there are lots of debris from lazy people that cannot clean up before they leave. The only downside is the trash tends to pile up, not from lack of services from the Parks Dept, just simply due to lazy people.
